The NBCRI funds qualified research scientists and clinicians to carry out research into breast cancer. It also provides the necessary finances to purchase and maintain essential up-to-date laboratory research equipment for analysis of biological genes and proteins. Research collaborations exist between the NBCRI and national and international research institutes.
